The tree has an ascending crown type and medium vigor. Fruits weighing from 2 to 4 grams change color from green to dark purple during the ripening process. The fruit skin is covered with a waxy bloom and small lenticels; ripening begins in mid-September.
The variety has high yield and high oil content. Its fruits are used in blends for the production of PDO "Terre Tiburtine" olive oil. The plant is historically adapted to limestone and volcanic soils of hilly terrain.
