The rootstock is a hybrid of Prunus mahaleb × Prunus avium. It belongs to the group of semi-dwarf rootstocks, providing trees with moderate vigor, which is lower than that of seedling rootstocks but higher than that of super-dwarf ones.
The plant possesses good adaptability to various soil and climatic conditions, including calcareous soils, however, it is sensitive to bacterial canker. It is characterized by a good anchoring system in the soil, which reduces the need for mandatory support.
The use of the rootstock promotes earlier entry of grafted trees into fruiting, increases their productivity, and improves fruit coloration. Propagation is carried out using micropropagation or hardwood cuttings.
