The rootstock was selected from Prunus mahaleb seedlings and classified as a Prunus mahaleb × Prunus avium hybrid. Trees grafted onto this rootstock possess medium or medium-high vigor, occupying a position between the SL 64 and F 12/1 rootstocks.
The plant has good compatibility with sweet cherry varieties and contributes to high productivity. The rootstock anchors well in the soil, adapts to various soil types, including calcareous ones, and exhibits tolerance to drought conditions. At the same time, it is not recommended for use on heavy, waterlogged soils and is characterized by moderate root sucker formation.
