Ujfehertoi furtos
ActivePrunus cerasus L. · Sour cherry
Ujfehertoi Gyumolcstermesztesi Kutato, H
10 August 2026
The variety has a bush-type crown and reaches a height of 2–3 meters. The plant is characterized by hardiness and the ability to grow in various climatic zones, while not requiring frequent pruning due to its natural crown formation.
The medium-sized fruits change color from dark red to almost black-brown (chocolate) at full maturity. The variety is self-pollinating, and the fruits are suitable for both fresh consumption and processing. Due to its compactness and ornamental qualities, the variety is also used in landscape gardening.
