The variety is a bush-type cherry, which depending on cultivation practices can be trained as a bush or a standard tree. The plant is low-vigor, reaching a height of 200–300 cm. The variety possesses high winter hardiness, adapted for northern zones, and is self-fertile, which does not require the presence of pollinators.
The fruits are medium-sized and acquire a very dark, brown-black color upon ripening. The flesh is distinguished by a sweet-and-sour taste with a characteristic almond aroma. Fruiting occurs relatively early; the harvest ripens in August and is suitable for both fresh consumption and various culinary processing.
