The variety Gobetka, also known as Gobe, Veliki Gobe or Grose Montmorency mit kurzem Stiele, belongs to the amarelle group. Historically, the variety became widespread in many regions, however, it is practically not used as an industrial standard in modern breeding.
The fruits of this variety ripen at the end of June, in the fourth week of the cherry and sweet cherry season. They have juicy flesh and a pleasant aroma, and when ripe, they are able to remain on the tree for 5–6 days. A distinctive feature of the variety is its self-fertility.

Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
