The plant possesses good winter hardiness, moderate resistance to Phytophthora, and does not produce abundant root suckers. The rootstock is characterized by satisfactory anchorage; however, it may require support in the first years after planting. Cases of incompatibility with individual sweet cherry varieties have been noted.
