The tree is weak to medium-growing with a compact crown. The fruit is medium to large in size, about 6 grams, and round in shape. When fully ripe, the skin acquires a dark red, almost black hue with a characteristic luster.
The flesh is firm, juicy, and has a sweet and sour taste. The variety is of medium to medium-late maturity and is self-fertile. It shows good resistance to Monilinia and adverse weather conditions, in particular to fruit cracking in rainy weather.
