The variety is late-maturing; the fruit ripening period usually falls in mid-July. The tree is characterized as low- or medium-vigor, often of a shrub-like form, reaching a height of up to 4 meters.
Fruits are of medium or large size, colored dark red, almost black. The flesh is juicy and soft, possessing a pronounced sour taste. The fruits are well-suited for the production of juices, jams, preserving, and use in baking.
The variety can be susceptible to fungal diseases, such as cherry leaf spot and brown rot, which requires control. This clone is a variation of the classic variety known in Russia under the names Lotovaya or Angliyskaya Morel.
