The tree is characterized as small but relatively vigorous, with a wide-spreading, drooping-inclined crown. The plant height varies from 2.5 to 5 meters. The variety is undemanding, capable of growing in poor sandy soils and partial shade, and exhibits high resistance to Monilinia, fire blight, leaf spot, and fruit rot.
The fruits are medium to small in size, weighing about 4 grams, with a flattened-round shape. Upon ripening, the skin is dark red and translucent. The flesh is very juicy, soft, with a distinct aroma and high acidity. The stone separates easily from the flesh. Harvesting usually takes place in July.
The variety is considered a multi-purpose industrial one. Due to the high juice content and acidity, the fruits are in demand for the production of juices, jams, jellies, liqueurs, tinctures, and wines. They are also suitable for baking and fresh consumption, although the taste may be perceived as very acidic.
