The tree of this variety is vigorous, forming a large compact crown with semi-upright branches. The fruits have a round shape, slightly flattened at the top, and their weight is about 6.5 g. The skin is brownish-red, becoming almost black when fully ripe.

The flesh is dark red in color, quite firm, moderately juicy, with a pronounced bitter note; the juice is purple. The stone is broadly elliptical, from medium to large size. The variety ripens in the first ten days of July and is characterized by late flowering.

The variety possesses good winter hardiness. Regarding diseases, it shows low susceptibility to bacterial canker, as well as medium susceptibility to coccomycosis and moniliosis. Productivity is estimated as medium or weak.
