The fruits are large, weighing 8–10 grams, kidney-shaped with dark red, juicy flesh of medium firmness. The variety is early-ripening, maturing 15 days earlier than the Schattenmorelle variety, and possesses resistance to cracking with good keeping quality.
The variety has high susceptibility to Coccomyces hiemalis and Monilinia, which necessitates regular preventive fungicide treatments.
