Trees have medium to strong growth vigor and form a pyramidal crown with long pendulous branches in older specimens. The variety is considered undemanding regarding soil conditions and exhibits high resistance to Monilinia with medium resistance to Pseudomonas.
Fruits are small, flat-round, intensely dark red in color with a sour taste and high anthocyanin content. The flesh is of medium firmness and easily separates from the pit. Fruits separate easily from the stalk when ripe, which allows for the possibility of mechanized harvesting.
