ActivePrunus cerasus L. · Sour cherry
Ujfehertoi Gyumolcstermesztesi Kutato, H
10 August 2026
Trees have medium to high vigor and a pyramidal crown, which forms long pendulous shoots in older specimens. The variety is self-fertile and blooms early. The fruits are oblate-round in shape, turn almost black upon ripening, contain a high level of acids and anthocyanins, and have a low susceptibility to cracking.
The variety is characterized by a late ripening period and high productivity on soils with moderate nitrogen content. Due to the easy detachment of the fruit from the pedicel, the variety is suitable for mechanical harvesting. It possesses high resistance to Monilinia and moderate resistance to bacterial burn, and is characterized by low soil requirements.
