The tree is vigorous or medium-vigorous with a semi-erect or erect crown. The variety was bred by crossing the Van and Sam varieties. The fruits are very large, 28–32 mm in diameter, with red juicy flesh, a sweet taste, and a distinct aroma.
The variety is characterized by regular high yields and good resistance to diseases, in particular to moniliosis. It is self-incompatible; the Burlat, Van, Lapins, Sweetheart, and Kordia varieties are recommended for cross-pollination.
