Ujfehertoi furtos
ActivePrunus cerasus L. · Sour cherry
Ujfehertoi Gyumolcstermesztesi Kutato, H
10 August 2026
Trees are characterized by vigorous growth and vertically directed branches, although it is also typical for shoots to become long and pendulous over time. Fruits of this group ripen somewhat later than the main variety Pándy üvegmeggy.
Plants are sensitive to fungal diseases, in particular to Monilinia, are self-incompatible, and have medium or low yield. Fruits are large, dark burgundy in color with shiny skin and juicy dark red flesh with a harmonious sweet-and-sour taste.
