The tree is characterized by moderate vigor, has a compact spur-type crown, and requires training in the first years of growth. The variety is self-sterile; the presence of pollinator varieties is necessary for fruit set.
Fruits are large, weighing 12–14 g, heart-shaped, and dark red in color. The flesh is firm, cartilaginous, juicy, with a spicy taste. The variety has low to moderate sensitivity to fruit cracking; in some cases, susceptibility to Pseudomonas infection is noted.
