The SUMINI (New Moon™) variety tree is characterized by medium growth vigor and a semi-erect crown, which facilitates maintenance. The variety is self-incompatible and belongs to pollination group IV, therefore requiring the presence of other varieties for fruit set.
The fruits reach a size of 27–28 mm, have a kidney shape, dark red skin, and red flesh. The variety belongs to the mid-season maturity group, ripening approximately 12 days after the Burlat variety. Due to its high yield, the variety is intended for commercial cultivation in intensive orchards.
