Trees of this variety have medium to high vigor with a pyramidal crown and long, pendulous branches in older specimens. The fruits are small, dark red in color with dark flesh, and belong to the late ripening period. Due to high acidity, the fruits are not consumed fresh, but they easily detach from the stalk, which allows for mechanized harvesting.
The variety possesses high resistance to Monilinia and medium resistance to bacterial canker (Pseudomonas), and is suitable for cultivation on various soil types. It is self-fertile, although cross-pollination by insects increases overall yield. There are distinct clones of the variety, such as Viki and Birgitte, which differ in productivity.
