The tree is low to medium-growing, reaching a height of 2.5 to 4 meters. The crown is spreading, and the shoots are thin. The fruits are medium or large in size, weighing about 5.3 grams, and have a round or slightly oval shape. Upon full ripening, the fruit color becomes dark red, almost black.

The flesh is dark red, soft, and very juicy. The taste is distinctly sour, despite the high sugar content. The variety is versatile in its use: suitable for confectionery, production of juices, wines, compotes, and preservation.

The variety is self-fertile and is characterized by high, regular yields. The plant is susceptible to Monilinia, therefore regular pruning is required to maintain productivity.
