The tree is of moderate vigor with a cone-shaped crown. Fruits are small, weighing 12–18 g, with an elongated egg shape and dark blue skin with a waxy bloom. The flesh is yellow-green, firm, and juicy, possessing a harmonious sweet taste and aroma. The variety is self-fertile and productive, but prone to alternate bearing.
The variety ripens in the second half of August, maturing 10–14 days earlier than the standard "Besztercei" type. The crop is sensitive to frost and requires moist soils; on dry sites, fruits may drop. The variety is extremely susceptible to Plum pox virus and Polystigmina rubrum. The harvest is suitable for fresh consumption, drying, and processing.
