The variety is a hybrid of Russian plum (hybrid cherry plum) developed at the Crimean Experimental Breeding Station. The tree reaches a height of 2.5–3 meters and begins bearing fruit in the second to third year after planting.
Fruits ripen in early August, are ovoid in shape, and have a red-violet color. The fruit flesh is soft, and the sugar content is approximately 10.6–11.8%. The variety is partially self-fertile and requires pollinator varieties.
The plant possesses high resistance to diseases and winter hardiness. Stable high yield and adaptability allow the variety to be used in both commercial and amateur gardening.
