The tree is characterized by moderate growth, reaching a height of up to 5 meters, and has a loose, broad crown with drooping branches. Flowering occurs in April-May, and fruit ripening falls in late August or September.
Fruits are medium-sized, oval or ellipsoid in shape, colored dark blue or purple with a waxy bloom. The flesh is yellow-green, juicy, sweet and sour, and fragrant; the stone separates easily. The plant is characterized by low maintenance and resistance to fungal diseases, in particular to Monilinia laxa.
