The trees are characterized by vigorous growth when grown for fruit, however, when the variety is used as a rootstock, a dwarfing effect is manifested, reducing the vigor of the scion by 12–40%. The variety is characterized as self-fertile with high winter hardiness and drought tolerance.
The fruits are medium-sized, weighing about 30 g, have a dark blue color with a glaucous bloom and amber-colored flesh. The taste of the fruit is assessed as juicy, sweet with a touch of acidity. As a rootstock, the variety provides good anchorage of plants and is characterized by the absence of root suckers.
