The variety is a seedling of unknown origin, which was historically grown for local markets in the Terlizzi area. The fruits are medium-sized, oval-shaped with a rounded apex and a weakly expressed suture line.
The fruit skin is medium thick, smooth, and covered with bloom and small lenticels. The ground color of the skin is light purple, transitioning to a dark purple overcolor. The flesh is yellowish-green, of medium consistency. The stalk is of medium length, attached in a shallow and narrow cavity.
