P-TU-2 is a generative rootstock for cherry, propagated by seeds. This form is traditionally used in pomiculture in the Czech Republic along with P-TU-1 and P-TU-3 forms.
Studies indicate high winter hardiness of this rootstock compared to other seed-propagated cherry forms. When using P-TU-2, grafted trees demonstrate vigorous growth.
