PeMa is an interspecific hybrid of peach and almond, developed for use as a rootstock, primarily for peaches. In official registers, it is classified as material for vegetative propagation, providing adaptability to specific soil and climatic conditions.
This rootstock is characterized by good compatibility with stone fruit scions and is suitable for in vitro micropropagation. It is not a variety of plum or other stone fruit intended for producing yield for human consumption.
