The tree has high growth vigor and a spreading crown. The variety is characterized by a medium flowering period and medium productivity. The plant is noted for high adaptability to local conditions and tolerance to pear psylla.
The small-sized fruits weighing 100–120 g have a turbinate-pyriform shape. The skin is yellow-brown, completely covered with russeting. The flesh is of a white-yellowish hue, granular and very firm, which determines the use of the fruits as cooking pears.
