CH 201
ActivePyrus communis L. · European pear
EST. PRODUCTIVO DE DANILO CHRISTEN
10 August 2026
The tree of this variety forms a vigorous and tall crown. The variety is considered undemanding regarding growing conditions and high-yielding, traditionally used for cultivation in meadow orchards of the Streuobstwiesen type as a standard tree crop.
The fruits are medium-sized, have a pear-like or conical shape with an uneven surface and possible presence of dots on the skin. The flesh is dense, firm, and dry, which is why the variety is classified as a culinary type and is not intended for fresh consumption immediately after harvest. In cooking, the fruits are used for preparing desserts and as side dishes.
