The tree is distinguished by vigorous growth, reaching a height of 8 meters, and forms a broadly pyramidal or broadly bush-shaped crown. Fruiting begins 5–8 years after planting; yield is characterized as high and regular.

Fruits are of medium size, have an ovoid shape and thin green skin, often with russeting. The white flesh has a buttery consistency and a sweet, spicy taste. The variety is an autumn one; fruits are harvested in the second half of September and ripen in October.

The variety is sensitive to strong winds, which can cause fruit drop, and is susceptible to fungal diseases, in particular scab. The crop is demanding regarding soil conditions and requires deep, fertile, and well-drained soils.
