The variety is classified as an autumn variety; the harvest maturity of the fruits occurs in mid-September. The fruits have a somewhat pear-shaped form; the skin becomes brownish-yellow upon ripening, often with russeting and a marbled pattern.

The flesh is yellowish-white, characterized by high juiciness, a melting texture, and a sweet flavor with a delicate aroma. The tree is suitable for training as an espalier, as well as for low-trunk and half-standard cultivation.

The variety is used as a dessert pear for fresh consumption. It can also be used as a pollinator variety for other pear varieties, such as the «Conference» variety.
