CH 201
ActivePyrus communis L. · European pear
EST. PRODUCTIVO DE DANILO CHRISTEN
10 August 2026
The tree is medium-sized; in its youth, it grows vertically, but with age, the crown becomes spreading. Harvesting maturity of the fruits occurs in mid-to-late August. The variety is self-incompatible and requires the presence of pollinators such as Conference, Clapp's Favorite, or Bosc kobak.
The fruits have a classic pear shape and a weight of 160–220 g. The skin is thin, light yellow when ripe, and sometimes has a blush. The flesh is white, juicy, and melting, possessing a pronounced muscat flavor. The variety is sensitive to pear psylla infestation and requires regular pruning.
