The rootstock was selected from Pyrus communis type material and is characterized by vigorous growth, representing approximately 90% of the growth vigor of Kirchensaller Mostbirne seedlings. It is recommended for planting high-stem trees and demonstrates good compatibility with all pear varieties.
The plant possesses high resistance to pear decline phytoplasma, good winter hardiness down to -20 °C, and lime tolerance, which allows for its use on calcareous soils. The rootstock is suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions, including sandy and gravelly soils, and possesses good anchorage.
