CH 201
ActivePyrus communis L. · European pear
EST. PRODUCTIVO DE DANILO CHRISTEN
10 August 2026
The fruits of the variety have a pyramidal or round-oblong shape. During the ripening process, which occurs from December to March, the skin changes color from whitish-green to yellow. The flesh is characterized as melting and juicy.
The tree reaches a moderate height and has regular yields. The variety shows good resistance to a number of diseases, however, due to early flowering, it is susceptible to the risk of damage by spring frosts.
To achieve optimal flavor characteristics, the fruits must be harvested before they reach full maturity and ripened indoors. In modern horticulture, the variety is practically not used in industrial production, being preserved mainly as a genetic resource.
