CH 201
ActivePyrus communis L. · European pear
EST. PRODUCTIVO DE DANILO CHRISTEN
10 August 2026
The variety belongs to summer table pears, whose fruits are suitable for both fresh consumption and processing. A characteristic feature of the variety is a tendency toward parthenocarpy and pollen incompatibility with certain types, for example, the Clapp's Favorite variety.
The plant has low to medium vigor. Due to the low winter hardiness of the wood, the variety is recommended for cultivation in protected and warm conditions. For commercial cultivation, an intercalary graft method is often used with intermediate rootstocks, such as Hardy or Conference.
