CH 201
ActivePyrus communis L. · European pear
EST. PRODUCTIVO DE DANILO CHRISTEN
10 August 2026
The variety belongs to the winter pear group. The fruits are small in size, round in shape, and have green skin with brown russet. The flesh is distinguished by its tenderness, juiciness, and aroma. Harvesting takes place at the end of October or the beginning of November, with the fruits remaining suitable for consumption until January–February.
The tree is characterized by compactness, the height of which is regulated by the rootstock. The variety exhibits winter hardiness and disease resistance. When grown on quince rootstock, the use of an interstock is required due to tissue incompatibility. The variety belongs to pollination group C and needs the proximity of pollinator varieties that bloom during the same period.
