The variety is a hybrid created for multiple flowering throughout the season: in spring, summer, and autumn until the first frosts. The flowers are semi-double, medium-sized, colored bright pink, often with reddish speckles on the petals.
The mature plant is an upright evergreen shrub 90–120 cm wide. The foliage, which is dark green in summer, may acquire a bronze or burgundy hue during the winter period.
The plant is adapted for USDA hardiness zones 6–10. It prefers to grow in sun or partial shade in well-drained acidic soils with a pH level from 5.0 to 6.5.
