The plant is a compact shrub 40–50 cm tall with dark green broadly ovate leaves. The large semi-double flowers have a saturated purple center and deep red edges; spotting in the throat is weakly expressed or absent.
The flowering period of the variety falls between August and November. The plant is intended for cultivation as an indoor flowering species, requiring acidic soils with pH 4–4.5, regular fertilization, and cool conditions during the autumn-winter period at a temperature of 12–14 °C.
