The Conlep variety is an evergreen azalea that originated as a bud mutation of the Conlec variety. The plant is characterized by a rapid growth rate and reaches a height of about 137 cm with a shrub width of up to 122 cm. The foliage is dark green and remains on the shrub throughout the year.
The flowers are single, purple with a white pattern that can vary from variegated and striped to completely purple on the same plant. The variety is intended for landscape design and is suitable for cultivation in USDA hardiness zones 6a–10b.
