The plant is an evergreen shrub with a wide spreading crown, reaching a height of 1.5–2 meters. The foliage is dark green, elliptical in shape, with a pronounced glossy sheen.
The milk-white flowers are decorated with characteristic bright red or burgundy speckles. Flowering occurs in late May – June. The variety is winter-hardy and capable of withstanding frosts down to -26°C, which allows it to be used in group and solitary landscape compositions.
