Variety description

The variety is a dense, wide-growing shrub. At 10 years of age, the plant height is 1–1.5 m; mature specimens reach 1.2–1.3 m in height and 1.5–1.6 m in width. The foliage is leathery, dark green, and elliptical or lanceolate in shape.
Large flowers up to 5 cm in diameter are gathered in inflorescences of 10–19 pieces. The petal color is white with a bright pink or purple-pink margin and a pronounced reddish-crimson blotch on the central petal. Flowering continues from early May to mid-June.
The plant is frost-hardy and withstands temperatures from -23 °C to -29 °C. It requires cultivation on acidic, humus-rich, permeable soils without lime content and needs protection from waterlogging.
