The plant is an evergreen shrub of a rounded spherical shape with strong branched shoots. By 10 years of age, it reaches a height of about 2 meters and a width of 2 to 3 meters. The leaves are large, oblong in shape, and dark green in color.
The flowers are very large; the petals are white with a wide ruby-red border along the edge. The variety belongs to the late-flowering category, with the flowering period occurring in mid-May. The stated winter hardiness is up to -25°C.
