Evergreen shrub with a compact, erect-globose to slightly spreading crown shape. At ten years of age, it reaches a height of about 1.4 m and a width of 1.6 m. The leaves are elliptical, medium-sized, 14–19 cm long and 5–7 cm wide; the surface is matte or slightly glossy, and the color is medium green.
The flowers are open funnel-shaped, 7–8 cm in diameter, gathered in conical inflorescences of 14–18 pieces. The petal color is pink with a lighter center and a distinct red pattern on the upper petal. The petal edges are wavy; there is no fragrance. Flowering occurs in May.
Winter hardiness is down to –24 °C. The variety was obtained by crossing 'Cornelia Schröder' × 'Petr' at the Silva Tarouca Research Institute for Landscape and Ornamental Gardening.
