The shrub is upright, characterized by vigorous growth: by 20 years it reaches 2.9 m in height and 2.5 m in width. The variety was obtained as a result of crossing the forms «Uguns» and an Exbury seedling.
The flowering period occurs in late May — early June. The flowers are simple, tubular-funnel-shaped, 7–8 cm in diameter, red in color with yellow spots, with long stamens and light anthers.
The variety is fully winter-hardy, withstanding temperatures down to -25°C. Intended for ornamental gardening.
