The variety was obtained as a result of hybridization of Uguns and Ex-5 forms. The plant is an upright deciduous shrub with a rounded crown. At the age of 20 years, the shrub reaches 1.5–2.2 m in height and up to 2 m in width.
The flowering period occurs at the end of May and the beginning of June. The variety is fully winter-hardy, which allows it to be used for cultivation throughout the territory of Latvia.
