The variety is a dwarf, wide-spreading, compact evergreen shrub obtained as a bud mutation of the Nova Zembla variety. The plant is characterized by very slow growth, reaching 60 cm in height and 100 cm in width by the age of 15.
The flowers are purple-crimson in color, and the shape of the inflorescences is near-hemispherical with a diameter of about 12 cm. The individual flowers are funnel-shaped, consisting of 5 petals, and the flower diameter is about 5 cm. The variety has winter hardiness and blooms in early June.
