The variety is an evergreen shrub with a loose, open crown structure and curved branches. Due to the peculiarities of its habit, pruning is recommended to form a proper bush shape.
The plant reaches a height and width of 2.5–2.7 m. The flowers have a purple-red hue. The flowering period occurs in late May – early June.
