The shrub is characterized by a compact habit and dense branching, reaching a height and width of about 120 cm by 10 years of age. Leaves are evergreen, glossy.
Flowers with a diameter of about 8 cm are gathered in dense spherical inflorescences. The color is deep pink or purple-red, with a dark pattern on the upper petal. Flower buds are red in color.
Flowering begins in the second half of May and continues until the end of the month. The variety has frost resistance down to -24 °C and maintains a regular crown shape, which is not prone to spreading.
