The variety belongs to the large-flowered rhododendron hybrid group. The plant is characterized by flowers of a fiery-red shade, which are complemented by characteristic black-red spots and strongly wavy petal edges.
This variety is winter-hardy and is used in landscape design for creating individual and group plantings. In addition to use for decorative purposes, the variety serves as a parent form for breeding new hybrids.
