The Legenda potato belongs to the early maturity group with the potential for crop formation 50–60 days after planting. The plant is short or of medium height, semi-erect type, intermediate growth type.
Tubers have an elongated-oval or oval shape, smooth red skin, and shallow eyes. The flesh is light yellow, does not darken during boiling, and maintains its structure. The weight of a marketable tuber is 97–191 g, and the starch content ranges from 12.6 to 17.1%.
The variety is intended for table use, culinary type "B" (universal, with slight or moderate boiling down). It possesses high keeping quality, high marketability, and resistance to potato wart and golden potato nematode.
